I am 37yrs old and am currently in this treatment and Dr.Alan Chong is single handedly changing my life and has saved my sanity!! I’m a bit of a severe case with a previous break in my lower spine and have seen many specialists who only put me on heavy pain meds and told me there is nothing they could do to help me and the intolerable level of pain. on a daily basis I was an easy 10/10 for pain and that was with pain medication. Dr. Chong, his knowledgeable and helpful assistant Alda and this amazing decompression treatment has helped me ease off my medication, I am gaining more stability and movement. I felt like I was out of options and then I found Dr. Chong. My personal wizard!!!! He has given me hope and solid results that show me I can have a life again!! This is worth it!!

I’ve been diagnosed with bulge disc at L4 and L5-S1, mild degenerative disc disease in lower lumbar spine. I was in severe pain and walking was impossible. I was also placed in short term disability. I took prescribed medication like, gabapentin, naproxen and topical cream. I’ve also tried physiotherapy with core exercises weight loss and also visited different chiropractors and nothing was working, this put me through depression. Finally my wife found Calgary Decompression Centre where Dr. Alan Chong assisted me and gave me a thorough examination. Now I’m on my 6th session and my back feels much better than before, I can now return to my usual activities but nothing crazy. Dr Alan Chong is the best chiropractor he has changed my life. I would highly recommend it to anyone who has been experiencing back pain.

After trying many therapies with no avail I found Dr Chong and made the effort to travel to Calgary from Australia to try his treatment regime.Both Dr Chong and Alda have been very helpful. The treatment has definitely eased the pain and I'm just over halfway through the sessions.Anyone experiencing disc problems I recommend seeing Dr. Alan Chong and trying his therapy before attempting any type of invasive surgery.

I’ve been going to Dr. Chong for over 10 years. As a full-time oil and gas worker as well as a part-time personal trainer/business owner, I know the importance of chiropractic and how it helps me function at 100%. Dr. Chong keeps me informed on my progress and the ever changing services his office offers. I get an adjustment once every two weeks and it makes a huge difference. I haven’t been on seizure medication since 2000. Chiropractic works! Dr. Chong doesn’t just work on the neck and spine, he deals with joints as well. I’ve had chronic back pain since my early 20s, so almost half my life now. I have seen may specialists of all sorts, done physio, injections, massages and consulted with a surgeon. I now live mostly pain free and can do many sports I couldn’t do before. Thanks to regular strengthening exercises and periodic excellent adjustments. DRX 9000 (spinal decompression therapy) started my recovery, followed by regular chiropractic adjustments. I have never experienced better adjustments than at this clinic. Dr Chong’s precise and innovative adjustments make all the difference. I used to think regular chiropractic adjustments were scams, but I have experienced that they make all the difference for chronic back pain. And it has to be good adjustments like the ones your get here. Investing time and money in other treatments to heal back pain without including GOOD chiropractic adjustments is a waist of time and money. Visiting this clinic is not like visiting any other clinic. You will get life changing advice and expertise.

Experienced nerve pain in left arm as a result of a bulging disk in neck between C5-C6 vertebrae. In a very short time Dr. Chong assessed, identified the problem and focused on a course of action. As a retired 76 year old who has suffered and continued to suffer with a debilitating back problem, I am writing this to reveal that there is help out there. After reaching a point that I was unable to walk for short distances due to severe pain emanating from my lower back and extending down to my legs, I had to do something. Regular chiropractic treatments provided brief relief, but did not alleviate the problem.After a series of x-rays and an MRI revealed compression between the L3& L4 discs and also between the L4&L5 discs. Consultation at the Spinal Clinic at the FoothillsHospital resulted with advice of surgery and cortisone injections. Neither of these options appealed to me and I subsequently investigated the viability of spinal decompression. After several inquiries I chose the Calgary Spinal Decompression Clinic due to the thorough information received by telephone.From the friendly atmosphere of the receptionists to Dr.Chong and his Associates, the experience is amazing. Dr.Chong emphasizes that this is not a cure, but helps alleviate the severe pain allowing a person to resume some normal activities such as walking. The DRX9000 machine along with laser treatment and back adjustments, have done this for me.

My wife and I are very happy with the staff at Centre for Chiropractic Care (Crowfoot). Our first experience was at the end of August. My wife was having severe lower back pain and could almost not move. My wife has had a history of back problems, but this was much worse than normal.We were able to see Dr. Alan Chong on very short notice. We went for one treatment a day, with an adjustment and laser therapy. My wife went from being almost immobile to nearly herself again in three days.Her turnaround was nothing short of amazing. She continues with treatment in order to heal her back and hopefully we will see a reduction in the frequency and severity of any further issues.We appreciate that Dr. Chong and the other staff are focused on spinal health for the long term and not just the quick fix for today’s pain.

When I entered into Dr. Alan Chong and practice my situation was dire with chronic neck pain and numerous symptoms associated with a degenerative condition from tingling to dizziness to ringing in the ears. I learned of spinal decompression and chose Dr. Chong’s office. With laser and regular follow-up treatment, my most serious symptoms have resolved.
